RTD stands for Research Technology and Development, and represents projects with a large budget, a multidisciplinary consortium and ambitious objectives.
To be accepted for Nano-Tera.CH, an RTD research proposal is required to aim for extremely high quality research within the objectives of the Nano-Tera program.
Nano-Tera Focused are small projects with a specific, highly targeted goal.
Sino Swiss Science and Technology Cooperation are small projects with a specific, highly targeted goal.
ED projects are programs of Education and Dessemination. Undergraduate students, postrgraduates and even members of the public will often be able to take part in ED projects at different levels.
